Moving and delivering white goods is a focal point for many firms and industries across the UK, and with every passing second a new fridge, washing machine or oven are delivered to an expectant customer. They’ve likely been communicated a time slot, and are closely watching as the delivery staff arrive.

A lorry or van usually turns up, the good is manoeuvred to the lift at the rear and it’s brought down to ground level. The problem is, a lot of smaller companies don’t have the benefit of an external lifting system, as it exceeds their budget.

For this reason, Stanley presents the PowerMate LiftGate.

An internally-fitted lifting system that’s reliable, efficient and of course, cost-effective. The LiftGate enables the operator to manoeuvre ovens, fridges, washing machines and beyond from the rear or side door of a van onto the ground level with one simple movement. This lifting device takes up minimal space inside the van, and is protected from the elements unlike traditional external lifts. The swing arm allows you to position the load inside the vehicle and saves the need to manhandle.

There are 2 versions offered: the LG-3 and LG-6. Both versions can be equipped with either a left or right-hand mounting configuration and can lift 114kg-227kg respectively.

Once the white goods are at ground level, it then need transporting into the premises. The next issue is getting the goods into the building, if there are stairs but no lift, the job becomes more difficult. In light of this, Stanley present our range of stairclimbers.

The first powered stairclimbing solution ideal for the white goods industry is the PowerMate Pogo.

PowerMate Pogo

This light-duty motorised hand truck is commonly used to move slightly smaller items, like microwaves. This model not only reduces property and product damage but ensures a strong level of control is maintained by the operator.

Sprinter
The second product we offer that is ideal for white goods is the Sprinter, which is a compact, ergonomic and ultra-lightweight powered stairclimber. With a weight capacity of up to 170kg, this model is of lightweight aluminium construction. It’s light enough to be carried, and small enough to fold down easily into the boot of a van, truck or lorry, depending on your fleet. It can easily take care of stairs with washing machines, fridges and beyond.
