Working in facilities management can often consist of moving equipment, checking machinery and ensuring the working environment is safe for all. With ever-tightening health and safety legislation and often just one individual or a strained, small team responsible for facilities management, it’s important that these jobs are completed correctly in as little time possible.
That’s where Stanley come in. We offer tailor-made stair climbing solutions that are designed to make the life of a facilities manager easier.
We firstly present the PowerMate Pogo, which is a light-duty motorised hand truck, most commonly used for delivering small heavier items, up to 100kg. This innovative stair climbing solution reduces property and product damage by ensuring a strong level of control is maintained during the moving process, which is easily conducted by a single operator.
An additional lightweight stairclimbing solution is the Sprinter, which is a compact, ergonomic and ultra-lightweight powered stairclimber that can climb 48 steps per minute. With a weight capacity of 110kg-170kg, this model is of lightweight aluminium construction. It’s light enough to be carried, and small enough to fold down easily into the boot of a van. It can easily take care of stairs with heavy boxes, water towers and other tricky objects on board.
The second stairclimbing solution ideal for facilities is the SC series, which can carry an impressive 310kg. These machines have the capability of carrying large, heavy items with relative ease, which are otherwise impossible to haul up and down stairs with a single operator. They’re brightly coloured red and of rigid design, which ensures the longevity and product finish you’d expect to be offered by Stanley.
For much heavier items such as vending machines, the PowerMate series are our strongest stairclimbers. Each model in the range differs slightly in size and capability, with some even fitted with a moveable toe plate. The machines pack a huge lifting capacity, carrying loads of up to 680kg.
