Stanley Handling to give a lift to IMHX
A busy year for exhibitor Stanley Handling has seen ROBUR materials handling equipment supplied across manufacturing, logistics and the service sector. A ‘standard’ 1-tonne powered stacker is operating aboard new oil and gas drilling vessel the Fugro Synergy whilst a bespoke 12-tonne powered pallet truck won business from injection moulder McKechnie Plastic Components against Europe-wide competition. A new ROBUR compact 4-way stacker was launched, making inroads into the sawn timber industry with sales to, amongst others, Stewart Milne, the leading manufacturer of timber systems for the house building sector.

The company is also seeing rapid growth in the market for powered stairclimbers. These robust battery powered units enable a single, trained operator to safely load and unload vehicles, cross thresholds and steps and move goods and equipment up and down stairs and along narrow corridors right to the point of use. The PowerMate handles large and awkward products such as vending machines, safes, HVAC units and medical equipment and is being used increasingly within manufacturing facilities. Sprinter and Pogo models are delivering goods ranging from beer kegs to reprographic equipment.
Standard and bespoke ROBUR equipment will be on display at IMHX whilst demonstrations of stairclimbers, including the Liftkar wheelchair variant, will be taking place.
