ROBUR stacker all at sea
Following an initial enquiry via Google, a compact stacker from ROBUR’s SBE range is being used to move and stack supplies and equipment aboard a new, lightweight oil and gas drilling ship in locations around the world.
 Fugro Synergy. Commissioned in 2009, the vessel offers a specialist, smaller and more cost effective unit for certain pre-drilling operations and helps relieve expensive mobile off-shore drilling units of some simpler tasks and peripheral operations.
The robust and manoeuvrable SBE1610 stacker features powered lift and drive, has a load capacity of 1000kgs and lifts to 1600mm. Electronic speed control, electromagnetic braking and a high capacity battery are all included as standard. Stainless steel versions and bespoke models for use in hazardous environments are also available and a range of lift height options can be specified.
