Materials handling specialist, Stanley Handling Ltd, has supplied two ROBUR SBC Powered Counterbalanced Stackers to Howard Smith Papers in Northampton.

John Hollowell, Maintenance Manager, said: "Our warehouse operatives have been using ROBUR Stackers since 1995 when we made an initial purchase of 4. The stackers are used to carry out picking operations of pallets of paper and boxes of envelopes from the picking bays of our automated warehouse.
With loads sometimes weighing as much as 750 kg, the stackers have become an essential piece of equipment in the warehouse for carrying out picking operations quickly and efficiently without risk of injury. The narrower turning circle also benefits operatives who need to manoeuvre in tight spaces.

The ROBUR SBC Counterbalanced Stacker is a highly versatile powered counterbalanced stacker capable of handling single and double sided pallets.
